We recentlyreceived back an eleven-month-old male out of Sadie and Amos from a couple who were no longer able to keep him. He is a very large boy already 31 inches at the shoulder and weighing 130 pounds. He gets along well with our other Newfoundlands, but I don't think he would do well with cats without some work. He is house-trained and used to a doggie door, walks well on a leash, and knows "sit" and "down" very well. Up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is very active and playful and should not go to a home with very small children. He must go to a home with a fenced yard, or he would do well in a country home where he can use up a lot of energy at his age.
